2009 has witnessed the fast booming Online MMORPG, and numerous new online MMO games squeezed into the gaming market. Almost every week, nearly 10 new games entered the closed beta. And activation code posts and giveaway banners can be found in every gaming sites or sites -related games (these sites may work together with google). As the player’s enthusiasm rises, online game companies resorted to all the measures and promotions to promote their games, advertising their games on google, yahoo and some advertising agencies –ad4games and etc. What is worse, some companies use porn to attract players to register and download their games. Faced with these tons of games and badly advertising behaviors, Players has become critical of the MMO Games.
Players have become increasingly proficient in how to choose a good game. They can select them, from the game screenshots, the background story , server stability, charging mode, special systems, operating companies, R & D team, and forum activity, they more often than usual, take a comprehensive consideration before downloading the game and playing the games.
2009 is no longer a dominant era, WOW’s rise and endurance has laid the foundation for its milestones, but players need what is new and what is better to keep satisfying them and for fun.
Now, 2009 will soon be over, but we can foresee that, the upcoming 2010 will bring us more surprises and expectations, and we summon the new game birth like WOW, or Aion, and Allods Online, and even some classic browser MMORPG—Runescape, and Evony.

1, Myths & Heroes
Have you ever played Phoenix Dynasy Online published by Ingle Games. Well, Phoenix Dynasty Online is an old Chinese MMORPG, but the the developer behind PDO will bring a new MMORPG titled ” Myths & Heroes”. In comparison with PDO, Or the very similar game–Conquer Online, Myths & Heroes is characterized by Individual costumes , Mysterious scenarios, Unpredictable instances, Faction system with RTS features and Mini pet client as well.
Myths & Heroes” takes Chinese classical stories and oriental myths as its background story. In this totally new background story, players will interact with gods, immortals, demons and ghosts. It will be a completely new game experience.
In the game, there are gods who appear just but are evil in their hearts; there are closefisted but honest demon merchants; there are spirit beasts which appear stupid but are clever in their mind; there are beautiful but ferocious demon plants.

2, Mission Against Terror
AT is the brand new FPS online game, and featured with the stimulating Mummy Mode and great maps. Moreover, Mission Against Terror (MAT) also provides unique weapons, different gaming modes, and personalizable equipment. All these aspects create fun new themes and experiences.

Final Quest is a 2D side scroll MMORPG with distinct Puzzle solving gameplay. Players need to figure out all the puzzles they come up with in maze dungeon. And the puzzles will be various according to players’ different choices.

9, Hunter Blade
Why is it hot:
The game looks, and seems to play like the hit Capcom MMORPG, Monster Hunter Frontier. Monster Hunter Frontier is one of the biggest MMORPG in Japan, and China’s players have longed to try the Chinese version of the game. The similarity between Hunter Blade’s screenshots and Monster Hunter Frontier’s actual gameplay looked so similar that Capcom has voiced out its displeasure, and asked JoyChina, the developer, to clarify. The accusation was of course thrown out, and JoyChina rejected the claims as mere harmless comments.
Another point on why the game is hot is due to Monster Hunter Frontier being a monthly subscription game, while Hunter Blade is set to be Free to Play. Capcom has since announced that they will not be localizing Monster Hunter Frontier for the China gamers, hence the huge interest in Hunter Blade.

10, Dragonball Online
Dragonball Online, is a casual online MMORPG based on the hit manga which sold millions of copies across the world, and considered to be the Japanese manga reputation around the world. The background story storyline in DragonBall Online, however, differs from what the manga offered. It is now 250 years after the last events taking place, and the 3 races, Human, Namekian and Majin have since lived peacefully together as a harmonious community. There is no definite storyline or plot at all, players can choose to become either one of the 3 races and explore the world and even time travel back to the past for missions.

The world of Lurris is a vast environment rich with colourful characters and unique landmarks. The world is divided most noticably into racial territory. The humans inhabiting the lands central and north, the elves in the forests to the east, and the orcs to the deserts in the south. There are no firm borders between races, instead travellers will notice that the racial makeup of towns gradually begins to change when entering a new part of the world.
Alignment to either of the two great mages is another major dividing factor for the people of Lurris, but is only very loosely tied to geography. There are areas around the mages’ cities of residence that strongly reflect their own influence, but outside these areas opinions differ from town to town.

Iris Online is a casual MMORPG Developed by a South Korean online game development company and will be published by Gala-Net, Inc, which means players could play such cute 3D MMORPG in your native language. Also in Iris Online, unique PVP battlefield system where Water, Fire, Earth and Wind forces reinforce or counteract each other. What is unique too is the combat maps based on your different levels. what is better is no punishment when you are defeated in the combat map.

Tartaros Online is a 3D fantasy + cute + action MMORPG with Japanese artworks and is one of the more popular Korean games on the market. It is said that the game will be brought in the global market in 2010.

17 AIKA
AIKA is a free-to-play multiplayer Fantasy RPG game that will be released in spring 2010 by Gpotato.com. Unluckily enough, I never applied for its CBT code in its internal testing, so I have not got its first hand screenshots and make a brief review. Here Just to let you know AIKA will be made to public in 2010 spring. At the moment, you can go to its official website to discuss what you will choose in terms of class, character, and your stats. Heroes of Telara is a massively multiplayers online Role-playing game developed by Trion World Network, Inc. the MMOG takes place in an unconventional fantasy world where elves and dwarves join forces with human swordsmen wearing plumed hats and flared pantaloons, all of whom ride lumbering lizards into battle against demonic imps, goblins, and misshapen fantasy fiends. Priston Tale 2 is a 3D Fantasy Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing game that will be published in 2010 by Suba Games. Actually, I have not found any new elements from this game, but I am looking forward to a wholly improved version will be coming out this year.

World of Fight (WOF )is a Chinese side-scrolling MMORPG integrating WOW‘s assets, arcade, and action-adventure elements as well. The open beta of WOF is on January 16, 2010 and become the most popular talk and play choice overnight. World of Fight is independently developed by Chinese developer–the9 City based on the Chinese three kingdom’s historical background.
27, Dungeon Bandits
Dungeon Bandits is the Tournament-Based dungeon crawler from PlayEnvy that takes players deep into a humorous, monster-filled world of treasure hunting. Players face off against each other in teams of up to 5 members during a capture-the-treasure scenario. Battling dungeon monsters and mini-bosses, players must use skillful strategy to get the upper hand on the opposing team and carry the treasure out of the dungeon.
